Clinoptilolite is a naturally occurring form of zeolite. Millions of years ago, volcanoes erupted and poured lava into the sea. Over time this combination of lava, ash and seawater created a mineral with a crystalline structure with tiny negatively charged cages. These strongly charged little cages have an outstanding ability to entrap heavy metals and other toxins.

From Good to Great – The traditional milling and processing of Zeolite involves producing a powder with particles of around 30 microns in size.  Dr. Rik Deitsch is a biochemist who became fascinated with the outstanding detoxifying power of Zeolite.  He began thinking of how he might create Zeolite particles small enough to pass through the gut and into the bloodstream, thereby taking the “trash-collector directly to the trash.”  This would require the zeolite particles to be 5 microns or less in size.  The breakthrough that Rik had was developing a process that reduced the size to less than 5 microns.

With its amazing affinity for toxins, natural zeolite may have many of its cellular cages already filled with bad stuff.   Even during the mining and processing stages, zeolite can capture the diesel fumes and many other potentially harmful materials around the mining environment.  Rik developed a process for emptying out all the cages, making the zeolite even more hungry.  This process is called activation.  The other unique process he developed is called micronization.  Zeolite particles are made that are smaller than 5 microns so they can enter the bloodstream, creating a powerful systemic detox agent.

Recently Rik has developed an improved zeolite which takes the particle size down to 0.39 microns. This improved iteration has only been available on the market since March of 2020.
