We’re Putting a Team Together

I just got an email from Peter Diamandis: I am on a global search to find my four key hires to join my personal team...If any of these positions interest you, or you know someone who is amazing and wants to join my personal team... you'll be working alongside tremendous company. My organization, The Abundance Group, is filled with an extraordinary group of rock stars. They are amazing and make life a joy...

What a fantastic attitude, this guy exudes total confidence! I am watching John Maxwell on Confidence, Courage & Decision-Making.

He says: If you’re going to be really good, you’ve got to grow. Focus on those things that matter most. What areas are the most important for a person to grow in? What things are the most essential for my success?

Number one is confidence. Great leaders are confident in themselves, they’re confident in their vision, and they’re confident in other people, and the result of that confidence is that people have confidence in their leader.

A confident leader gives people confidence!

We think of leaders as being charismatic... Confidence is the core of charisma. When you see a person that has charisma, the very core of that ability is that they are confident in themselves.

Many years ago, John went into a McDonald’s restaurant and asked for a Diet Coke, and the girl behind the counter said, “we don’t have diet Coke, we just have Coke.” He replied, “I don’t want that. Just give me a cup filled with ice.” And she looked at him and said, “I don’t think I can do that, sir,” (as she’s looking on her register, and there’s no place to push the button for ‘cup of ice’) John smiled real confident at her, and said, “Yes you can!!!” And she looked back at him and said, “ok!” Then she went over and got a cup and filled it up with ice, and she was as happy as a clam. As John walked back to the car, he realized what confidence does for people!

Nothing sells like confidence!

I wish for everyone to become a confident person. Once you’re confident, once you truly know you can help people, once you truly know that you can add value, that you can help take another person to a whole new level in their life, then others will buy in to that confidence!

In short, the less confident you are in yourself, the faster you will give up trying to get whatever you want. When I see a person who quits quickly, they have low self-confidence. If you worry about what other people think of you, it’s because you have more confidence in their opinion than you have of your own. I see people all the time wondering, ‘I wonder what they’re going to think’.... Who gives a crap! Listen to me, my name is John, I’m your friend! Since when did you feel so low in your self-image, you lowered your opinion of yourself so much that you let somebody else walk into your life trample all over it. They don’t have that right! And yet I see people do it all the time.

The above are notes taken from this most essential-to-watch video!

A person with a strong sense of purpose and who can articulate it will live about 7 years longer than someone who does not. Live big and be anxiously engaged in a great cause! With the advent of a new year just weeks away, you may be pondering over some goals you wish to accomplish. Everyone wishes to be happy. I believe we are happiest when we are in the process of accomplishment.

The Speed Of Trust

The Speed Of Trust

The Speed Of Trust

The Speed of Trust

In today’s world of overselling, hype, and fraud... at the highest levels of our society... nothing holds a candle to how vital it is for business owners & salespeople to build trust, mutual respect, and a sense of belonging with prospects, customers, and associates.

Most of us are in a business that has a stigma attached as it is. Some people do not believe that Network Marketing is something to be proud of... they feel it’s out of integrity.

Yet, you and I know that as long as we are compliant, open and honest, and show up authentically, there’s every reason to be proud, because with this model you have the ability to build a legacy business!

So to bridge the gap and shine light on our profession, in a way that is not pushy or defensive, check out the blueprint below:

These 8 Keys Could Ultimately Unlock Your Future

Trust

You wouldn’t trust a random stranger on the internet. Trust is most often earned, not dished out like candy on Halloween. Trust is earned based on what we do. You have to be willing to walk the talk, not just talk... talk... and talk. You must become predictable and believable when promoting your business. They need to believe you, so you can earn their trust.

Predictability

Others must learn, based on what we say and do, that we are consistent and dependable. For example, doing what we say we will do. Early in a relationship, this can be as simple as showing up or calling at the time that you said you would or following through completely on locating an answer to a question. As people feel they know who we are and what we stand for, they will not question if we are acting in alignment with who we have shown them we are. This is called having integrity, and it creates trust.

Believability

This means that people tend to believe what we say. In this sense, it is sometimes not the best idea to tell the whole truth. Perhaps you truly earn $20,000 a month part-time and maybe it would continue to flow whether you worked it or not, making it worth $4 to $5 million. However, if you are telling this truth to the average human, they cannot even fathom it... and that’s typically caused by ego and results in loss of trust. People need to be able to believe what you say, both in its content and most importantly, the way you say it. Sincerity can be faked. Authenticity cannot.

Authenticity

This is the real you. All of you: the good, the bad and the ugly. When you have the courage to show people more than the highlight reel, like glimpses of the fact that you are also a human, that’s when they are getting the real you. You aren’t ever going to be perfect, but people believe in the authenticity and humanity of others. Give them the whole you and nothing else, that creates loyalty.

Admiration

Accomplishments take time. What you have the ability to do now to be admired, depends on who you are for others. What I mean by this is what you contribute to the people who may admire you. The greatest tool to help you with that is simply and truly listening.

Listening

This is an extraordinary gift that can be practiced by all of us, all of the time. It is such a unique gift to others that when we do listen, they feel they belong, and like they matter to you. Most people are blown away by the impact it had on them, but you may not even realize what you did to have such an impact. Listening at this level has little to do with understanding the content of what someone says, although their name is worth remembering the first time they say it. Listening in this sense is about hearing the source of their comments – hearing the emotion behind their conversation and the intent behind what they are telling you.

Respect

Respect flows with gaining trust and admiration. And the value of respect in this business is that people tend to follow those whom they respect. Trust alone is often not enough, nor is admiration. But with respect, people will often buy what you are selling and go where you are going. On top of trust and admiration, you can gain respect with character. Having character in the eyes of others means they are clear about what your highest values are and understand that you honor those values. Even people whose values we do not share have character. We may (if we embrace diversity) respect them, but choose not to follow them.

Courage

Courage means to see danger and act anyway (assuming it is in your best interest). Courage is sourced in your motivation, and therefore is in such short supply, that anyone seen as having courage is highly respected. Courage, for example, to tell the truth responsibly; to talk to people you would not ordinarily talk to; to speak to groups; to make and honor commitments; and to ask others to hold you accountable. In the Network Marketing profession, we are charged with the opportunity to sell products through a channel that is not always the norm for customers, and to sell them on an income opportunity, using a concept most are not looking for. It is not easy and it will not be done on your behalf without you having the trust, admiration, and respect of those whom you need to build it with.

Success comes in our business, not to you, but through you, based on who you can become for yourself – and for others.

Everything you’ve just read is essential to creating a legacy business.
